Abigail Hanscombe was born circa 18505 and first married Abraham Kingsley circa November 1854 at Hitchin.1,4 Her second marriage was to Samuel Burgess circa 1879 at Hitchin. Her children kept the name Kingsley.1,6,7 Little is known of her except that she was a domineering and autocratic person on 3 June 1994.5 Abigail died circa May 1921 at Hitchin.5
