Harold Loft, son of Edward Shaw Loft and Ellen Eastwood, was born on 26 January 1914 at 8 Katwell Lane, Hedon, E. Yorks.,2,4,5 and married Phyllis E C Moxen on 20 May 1937 at The Register Office, Hull.3,6,5 They were later divorced.7

He was a Petty Officer in the Royal Navy during WW2 and being called-up from the reserve. He was also a Lighterman at some point during his life.8,9,5

Harold married Ivy Hunter, nee Baxter, at Hull, E. Yorks., She later circa May 1949.3,10,5 Ivy Hunter was said to be well-bred and ran his butcher's shop during the war like a sergeant major.11

Harold Loft lived at 442 Southcoates Lane, Hull, on 5 January 1957 having moved in with his wife to care for his grandfather.12,13

Harold Loft played the piano14 and was in 1994; still alive.1

Harold Loft died on 23 January 1998 at age 83 at Kingston General Hospital, Hull, E. Yorks.5

Harry Wilson joined the Army circa 1940 and was promoted to the rank of sergeant whilst still quite young. His service number was 1531354.2 He was captured by the Italians at Tobruk and passed on to the Germans when Italy capitulated. He waited to be released by the British even though the Russians and Americans were already nearby.3

Harry married Miriam Hodgson, daughter of Percy Osbourne Hodgson and Grace Bowman, on 16 May 1945 after he was released from being a prisoner of war.1,3 Harry Wilson died circa 1983.4,1,3

Circa 1985 Harry Wilson was photographed with Miriam Hodgson at a 60th birthday celebration. Madonna Hodgson, Colin Stanley Hodgson, Joan Phillips, Harry Phillips, Mary Hodgson, L Geoffrey Hodgson, Rita Hodgson, Manda Webb, Marlene Anderson, Roy Anderson and Steven Webb also appeared in the photo.
