Ivy Baxter was born on 13 September 1912 at Sculcoates, E. Yorks,1,3 and married Kenneth W Hunter circa June 1932 in Sculcoates.2 She later married Harold Loft, son of Edward Shaw Loft and Ellen Eastwood, at Hull, E. Yorks., circa May 1949.1,4,3 Ivy Hunter was said to be well-bred and ran Harold's butcher's shop during the war like a sergeant major.5

Ivy Loft lived at 442 Southcoates Lane, Hull, on 5 January 1957 having moved in with her husband to care for his grandfather6,7 and died at age 78 at Hull, E. Yorks., on an unknown date.1,3
